WHAT’S YOUR ROLE AT NOLIA AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

I  am an intern at Nolia Roots and I help to make our clients’ brands come alive. I work behind the scenes on content creation, strategy, and social media marketing. 

WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST MOMENT — WHETHER IN WORK, SCHOOL, BUSINESS — SO FAR?

My greatest moment so far was crossing the finish line with my varsity women’s 4+ at a regatta in Columbus, OH last fall. It felt amazing – my boat killed the race and I had never coxed so well. Without seeing the official time, I immediately knew we won, so I slapped the water in excitement and threw my hands up.  After coxswaining on Miami University’s rowing team for three years,  that was the first race I won, and it also happened to be the first regatta my parents were able to attend.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

Knowing that my best is yet to come and I don’t ever have to stop growing. Whether I’m 21 or 81, I hope to always be asking myself, “What  do I want to be when I grow up?”

WHO DO YOU LOVE TO FOLLOW ON TWITTER OR INSTAGRAM AND WHY?

I  love following Chrissy Teigen on Instagram because she is hilarious and always keeps it real, in good times and in bad. Most recently, she shared losing her third baby at birth, was something absolutely heartbreaking. I admire her courage to be vulnerable and honest about the trials and tribulations of life.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY?

My iPhone 11 – specifically, the camera that can shoot videos in 4k.

WHAT’S THE ONE APP OR GADNET THAT NEEDS TO BE INVENTED?

An app that can predict my food cravings and suggest recipes for me.

WHERE CAN SOMEONE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT SCHOOL OR WORK?

Outside, running on a nature trail somewhere.
