What’s your role at Nolia Roots, and what do you do?

I am a Pinterest Marketing & Ads Strategist. I manage both organic and paid Pinterest ads for clients who are looking to boost their web traffic and engagement. 

What’s your greatest moment, whether in work, school, business so far?

My greatest moment was getting my first Pinterest Marketing client when I started my own business. I was a teacher for almost a decade before I decided to leave the classroom to build a better life for my family. I took a leap of faith on myself, and getting my first real client was proof that I could succeed. Now I’m blessed to be booked out with clients all over the world!

What’s your favorite thing about your position? What are you most excited about?

My favorite thing about being a Pinterest Marketing Strategist is planning. I love color coding and organizing! It brings me so much joy to be able to look a few months ahead to plan content and strategy with my clients. 

What motivates you?

Getting the very best results for my clients. I’m always in competition with my past self to do better. 

Who do you love to follow on social media and why?

• Kelly Mosser – I love her energy and mindset on business. I’m always inspired by her ideas, and I’m currently learning how to do podcast guesting from her course. 
• Amy Landino – She’s smart and witty, and I always gain a new perspective when I listen to her content.

What’s your favorite piece of technology?

Might sound simple, but headphones. I do my best work when I can block out the noise of the world with some focus music.

What’s the one app or gadget you think needs to be invented?

Teleporting machine! I’d love to cut down on transportation time.

Where can someone find you on a day you’re not working?

At the playground with my toddler!

What’s the best book you’ve read recently?

The Gap and the Gain – this book was recommended to me by a mentor, and the perspective shift is huge!

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

Obviously my family, but a tangible item would be my coffee maker. 

What’s the most interesting item on your desk?

Probably the walking pad underneath it. I’m a pretty minimal person and don’t like clutter!
