MEET AMY PROPHET NOLIA ROOTS 2025 SPRING/SUMMER INTERNS

What’s your role at Nolia Roots and what do you do?

At Nolia Roots, I work as the Social Media Marketing Intern, where I contribute to create engaging content, monitor consumer engagement, track data/analytics and come up with creative content strategies.

What’s your greatest moment — whether in work, school, business — so far?

I would say my greatest moment in school so far was when my marketing professor asked if my sales pitch video could be the class example. I felt honored that out of three hundred students, he felt my work was the worthiest being shown.

What’s your favorite thing about your job? What are you most excited about?

I love how each member of the team is supportive and wants you to succeed at this job. I am most excited to learn from my peers and get a better understanding of the social media marketing industry.

What motivates you?

I am motivated by the desire to succeed in life. I am constantly working towards improving myself and ensuring that my future is bright and fulfilled.

Who do you love to follow on social media and why?

I love following Ava Jules on TikTok and Instagram. As someone from PA, I love learning and seeing Hawaii and their culture through her posts.

What’s your favorite piece of technology?

My phone is my favorite piece of technology. I love how at any moment, I can access information or various forms of entertainment.

What’s the one app or gadget you think needs to be invented?

I would love for there to be an app where you can log into street cameras and see what is happening in various places around the world.

Where can someone find you on a day you’re not at school or work?

When I’m not working or at school, you can find me either at the gym, outside in nature, watching a variety of sports games or exploring new areas!

What’s the best book you’ve read recently?

I love any book by Colleen Hoover so I would say Heart Bones.

What are your podcast recommendations?

I really enjoy the podcast Pretty Basic.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

I can’t live without my water bottle! People quickly learn that I don’t go anywhere without it.

What’s the most interesting item on your desk?

I would say the most interesting item on my desk is my mini Formula 1 McLaren race car.
