WHAT’S YOUR ROLE AT NOLIA AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

I’m a part-time marketing & account coordinator at Nolia! I support NR by helping out with content creation and marketing strategy development both with clients and internally.

WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST MOMENT — WHETHER IN WORK, SCHOOL, BUSINESS — SO FAR?

My greatest moment was during my capstone project. I had a rockstar team – we connected on day one and created such awesome work together! While working with that team, I was at my best creatively, mentally, and productively. We brought out the best in each other, and I’d never felt more passionate about my work than during our brainstorming sessions. 🙂

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

People. The desire to understand and inspire others is what drew me to creative marketing. I love working in team settings and being a part of the collective brilliance that happens when people just click with each other!

WHO DO YOU LOVE TO FOLLOW ON TWITTER OR INSTAGRAM AND WHY?

One of my favorites is Morgan Harper Nichols. Her writing & art inspires me to be more open-minded and gentle in how I move through the world. The other is Jeramie Mackay on Instagram (@okaymackay) – her design work is where I strive to get my abilities to and find my own art style.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY?

My Airpods! I never go anywhere without them.

WHAT’S THE ONE APP OR GADNET THAT NEEDS TO BE INVENTED?

I have this whole idea about an app just like Cher’s computer program that chooses outfits from her closet in Clueless. If there was anything I could talk for hours about it’s that for sure!

WHERE CAN SOMEONE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT SCHOOL OR WORK?

On my rare free days, you’ll find me driving to spots around where I live to sit and watercolor paint. It’s my go-to when I need to let out stress or anxiety.

WHAT’S THE BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ RECENTLY?

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens – it surprised me in the best way.

Sun! I’ve wanted to move south since I was young – I’m a summer girl through and through.

Either a painting of the cottage at the lake my family has visited since I was a baby or the book Wonder Women by Sam Maggs. Both are so important to me!
