WHAT’S YOUR ROLE AT NOLIA AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am a Marketing and Content Creation intern at Nolia Roots. I help manage blog posts and keep clients social media pages up to date when new content is released. I also report to clients their website data bi-weekly, allowing them to get an idea of website traffic, and what is working/not working.

WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST MOMENT — WHETHER IN WORK, SCHOOL, BUSINESS — SO FAR?

My greatest moment in school was when I was Director of Communications for my business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. I was responsible for the creative materials for recruitment – including banners, flyers, and TV ads. Once recruitment started, I saw the work I created all around campus. My banners were placed around the business school, TV ads were in the dining halls and student centers, and flyers were scattered around classroom buildings. Knowing I created the image for AKPsi that semester was truly an amazing feeling and accomplishment.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

What motivates me is always the end goal. I’ve always held myself to a high standard, and set large goals for myself. With those goals in mind, I am motived to do whatever it takes to reach my fullest potential.

WHO DO YOU LOVE TO FOLLOW ON TWITTER OR INSTAGRAM AND WHY?

I love to follow young female “bosses”, such as Brooke Miccio and Danielle Carolan. They inspire me to keep “hustling” and work hard. I also love “simply quinua” and “eatingbirdfood” – they inspire many of my healthy recipes, and I love seeing their food creations! 

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY?

My favorite piece of technology is for sure my iPad! I use it for everything. I can’t tell you the last time I wrote with pen and paper… every note I take is now with the apple pen!

WHAT’S THE ONE APP OR GADNET THAT NEEDS TO BE INVENTED?

An app to track all of you receipts and keeps them in one place. I always lose them!

WHERE CAN SOMEONE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT SCHOOL OR WORK?

If I am not at school or working, you can find my in the kitchen! I am in love with baking, and creating holistic, clean recipes. Not only is it extremely realizing, but its also a great way for me to get creative outside of a work setting!

My Daily reflection journal. This isn’t the most interesting, but for sure a new find. I love logging how I feel and reflecting on each and every day.
