WHAT’S YOUR ROLE AT NOLIA AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

I’m the CEO and founder of Nolia Roots—and basically the head hype woman for my team and our purpose-driven clients. Think brand architect meets strategy nerd meets team coach. I help business owners untangle their big ideas, get laser-sharp on what actually matters, and build marketing that isn’t just smart—it works. I’m the one shouting from the sidelines, “You’ve got this!” while handing you the playbook that gets you across the finish line. I don’t just believe in the work—we make sure the work believes in you.

WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST MOMENT — WHETHER IN WORK, SCHOOL, BUSINESS — SO FAR?

Getting fired from my last job. It didn’t feel like a gut punch—it felt like a thousand pounds had been lifted off my shoulders. For the first time in a long time, I could breathe. Then, of course, came the stress of being 100% autonomous. But that moment gave me a kind of freedom I didn’t even know I needed. I stopped building someone else’s dream and started chasing my own. It forced me to stretch, lead, and step into my full potential—not just the version I thought I was allowed to be. That one “failure” was the catalyst for everything that’s come since: Nolia Roots, One Day, and a life that’s actually mine.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?/WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT?

Watching people have that lightbulb moment when the fog lifts and they finally feel clear on their vision. Strategy isn’t sexy to everyone, but to me—it’s freedom.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

Impact. I want to make the world 1% better every day and better myself 1% every day. Whether that’s through mentoring, exercising, building brands, or helping someone say the hard thing they’ve been avoiding—that’s what gets me up in the morning.

WHO DO YOU LOVE TO FOLLOW ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND WHY?

Dan Martell for operational genius, Alex Hormozi for unfiltered business truths, and Adam Grant for people-first leadership. They each challenge me in different ways and remind me that success isn’t just about scale—it’s about intention.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY?

My whiteboard. Seriously. It’s where chaos becomes clarity. When everything’s swirling, I map it out and suddenly, I know what matters again.

WHAT’S THE ONE APP OR GADGET YOU THINK NEEDS TO BE INVENTED?

Honestly? I’m good with the basics—my Reminder app is my ride or die. It’s simple, but I rely on it like crazy. It keeps my brain from bursting and my priorities straight.

WHERE CAN SOMEONE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT SCHOOL OR WORK?

On the patio with my husband, kids, and Irv; journaling or dreaming up the next big thing. Or just sitting in the quiet, catching my breath.

WHAT’S THE BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ RECENTLY?

Buy Back Your Time by Dan Martell. It completely reframed how I look at time, energy, and delegation. It’s not just about hiring help—it’s about reclaiming your zone of genius and building a business that actually serves your life.

WHAT ARE YOUR PODCAST RECOMMENDATIONS?

Diary of a CEO, Joe Rogan (sorry not sorry), and of course Unearth with Shelly Hughes. Big conversations, sharp insights, and the kind of truth-telling that gets you moving.

WHAT’S ONE THING YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT?

My journal. It’s part therapist, part strategy doc, part legacy in progress.

WHAT’S THE MOST INTERESTING ITEM ON YOUR DESK?

A sticky note that says, “Diluted focus leads to diluted results.” It keeps me honest.
