WHAT’S YOUR ROLE AT NOLIA AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

As a social media marketing intern at Nolia Roots, I will support Nolia Roots in lead generation and client nurturing through thought leadership-driven social media content. I will be creating engaging social media content, developing social media marketing campaigns, tracking customer engagement and SEO, etc.

WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST MOMENT — WHETHER IN WORK, SCHOOL, BUSINESS — SO FAR?

When I got a 4.0 during a semester. It’s the best feeling when your hard work pays off and it also motivates me to keep reaching for that goal each semester.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?/WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT?

I’m glad to have joined a company with such knowledgeable and supportive employees that are helping me to gain valuable experience. I can’t wait to dive more into the field of marketing, offer my input/ideas to Nolia Roots, and assist in client projects!

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

What motivates me is thinking about the future that I want to provide for myself. I want to work as hard as I can so that I can achieve all of my goals. After seeing my dad work as hard as he has, it motivates me to do the same so that I can hopefully be as successful one day.

WHO DO YOU LOVE TO FOLLOW ON TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM AND WHY?

I love following home/interior design accounts like @one.interior.mag. I also like following @hunter_propser on Instagram and Tik Tok, who posts touching stories from strangers.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY?

My favorite piece of technology is my phone. Although basic, it is convenient and diverse. I enjoy scrolling on Pinterest and TikTok, listening to music, and being able to watch my favorite shows while working out!

WHAT’S THE ONE APP OR GADGET YOU THINK NEEDS TO BE INVENTED?

An app that contains all your pieces of clothing. It asks you to pick the event/occasion you’re attending, and then it automatically mix matches different pieces of clothing in your closet into an outfit. You can also manually pair different things with one another to see if it would look ok. This would save me much time and stress!

WHERE CAN SOMEONE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT SCHOOL OR WORK?

Laying out by the pool or beach, going for nature walks, thrifting, and spending quality time around the people I love.

WHAT’S THE BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ RECENTLY?

I recently finished “A Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides. It was SO good, I love books that have unexpected twists.

WHAT ARE YOUR PODCAST RECOMMENDATIONS?

On long rides I enjoy listening to true crime podcasts and Welcome to Paradise by Sophia Kelly. Tbh, I need more podcast recommendations and I want to get into listening to them more!

WHAT’S ONE THING YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT?

Coffee!

Manifestation spray…I don’t exactly know if it works but it smells good at least!
