DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN
This posting is for Fall & Winter 2024-25
Mentorship, peer team collaboration, and real-world application are at the heart of our internships here at Nolia Roots. Our goal is to attract and grow the next generation of builders, shakers, and leaders and inspire them to master their passions. Having a small team allows for an abundance of experience opportunities and client interaction – no coffee runs here!
All internships have an option for academic credit and paid status, depending on skill level.
6 MONTH INTERNSHIP DESIGNED TO HELP YOU GROW
Learning & Development | 3 Months
In the first three months, you’ll learn what it takes to excel in the world of marketing and entrepreneurship. Learn the ropes, hear from recent grads about post-grad, and attend guest speaker Lunch and Learns with influential business leaders.
We offer monthly classes based on student interest and review topics such as entrepreneurship, SEO, personal finance, and more.
Real World Application | 2 Months
Test your skills by taking on more responsibility, apply your learned skill set, and experience what agency life is like in the real world. Execute influential work to help Nolia Roots and our clients flourish and grow.
Intern Team Client Project | 1 Month
Over the last 5 months, you’ve grown your skill set and gotten to know the other members of your peer internship team – learned their strengths, their talents, and how everyone works together. Now, you’ll collaborate with those peers on a real client project that lasts the last month of your internship. You’ll be able to use this project on any portfolio and speak about your role in future job interviews.
WHO DO WE HIRE?
Before we talk skill set, we look for individuals with the following characteristics based on our values:
- Hunger to learn with positive energy. We’re looking for someone who isn’t just interested in adding an internship to their resume but wants to grow their professional, emotional, and technical skillset.
- It’s important to thrive in a balance of independent work/self-managing and collaborative thinking. It’s important for interns to be able to work independently while also leveraging the collective brilliance.
- You are self-motivated and confidently able to work remotely.
- You practice extreme ownership. You don’t blame others for mistakes that happen but embrace failure, fail fast, and move on quickly.
- Willing to prioritize growth over comfort. Get out of your comfort zone and go beyond the minimum viable product.
- You are naturally curious, using active listening, innovation, and critical thinking when given an assignment. You have impeccable attention to detail.
- Proactive and solution-oriented. You are creative and consider all resources until you’ve found the best solution. You are always looking for ways to be more creative, strategic, and efficient. You are supportive, reliable, and have a willingness to learn from others.
